The Education Contest Chair awarded each winner a cash prize. The winners and their parents were served supper by Court Hartington. 1st place winners advanced to the state contest. Congratulations to all!

Villa Marie School for Exceptional Students

Court St. Charles #472 Regent Cassie Chandler and Court Education Co-chairs, Gretchen Poppler and Mary Anne Classen visited Villa Marie School for Exceptional Students in Waverly, NE on April 10, 2025.  
​

The Lincoln court extended it’s ART education contest to this special school run by the Diocese of Lincoln and managed by the Marian Sisters.
 
The students who entered the contest were given awards for their participation.   Some of the students winning awards, are pictured here.
 
In addition to the art awards, the court presented a $500 check to the school for ongoing support.   The pictures shown are taken in front of an artwork project completed by all the students at the school, based on Van Gogh’s, “Starry Night” painting.

​Court Cordova #96 in Falls City, NE hosted a potluck for the 2025 Education Contest winners at their April 8th meeting. Winners, parents and Court members were in attendance.

50 year pins

On March 20, 2025 the Catholic Daughters Court #2099 Our Lady of Spalding honored 2 members with a 50 year pin and announced that they would no longer have to pay local court dues.  Connie Kleffner and Kitty Carlin are both charter members of our court which started in April 1974. 

Court St. Charles #472 BINGO

​Court St. Charles #472, Lincoln, NE, held a bingo party following their February 12th meeting.  

Vice Regent, Barb Weckman and Eilleen Childerston called BINGO.

Notice was put in the Lincoln parish bulletins and approximately one-half the attendees were guests.

A free will offering was collected and the court raised $230 for their court activities.
​
The event is in its second year and is open to adults and children.
