Advent by Candlelight

Court Willim McDonald #1009 in Hastings held another successful Advent by Candlelight on December 4. Tables were set elegantly.  Speaker was Rachael Tvrdy, director of family life and discipleship for the Lincoln Diocese who led guests in meditations of the first Christmas, music was provided by Cathy Kresbach, pianist, and Veronica Clark, junior at St. Cecilia, vocalist.  Maria Butler was mc who provided a little humor while guiding the evening. 
About a thousand dollars in free will donations for Catholic Social Services for families on the good angel trees at St. Cecilia and St. Michael parishes.​
