Jubilee pilgrimage7/15/2025 Court #2036 Our Lady of Perpetual Adoration, Bellevue, Nebraska, sponsored a Jubilee pilgrimage to venerate the incorrupt Sr. Wilhelmina Lancaster, Mother Foundress of the Benedictines of Mary. The order’s abbey is in the rolling hills southeast of St. Joseph, Missouri. Pilgrims prayed Midday prayers with the Benedictine Sisters followed by the celebration of a Traditional Latin Mass.
From the Abbey the group traveled to Leavenworth, Kansas and enjoyed lunch in the restored 1888 Leavenworth Union Train Depot. Lunch was served by women dressed as Harvey Girls, a tribute to the young, unmarried women of good character who famously served meals to train passengers in the late 1800s. Following lunch, the group visited the C.W. Parker Carousel Museum which included a ride on a beautifully restored 1913 carousel and then embarked on a guided bus tour of local highlights of the City of Leavenworth. Pilgrims included members of Nebraska CDA courts #764 York, #988 Columbus, #2036 Bellevue, and #2423 Omaha. Comments are closed.
